How to nominate a candidate for the Sambamurti Lectureship

    Compose an email message and send it to one of the committee members. They can be reached by clicking on their names on the main Sambamurti web page. The initial message need not contain a detailed justification for the nomination, but it should give a reasonable indication of what the candidate has accomplished. Please check in advance that the candidate is younger than 40. If the Committee feels that the candidate has a chance to be selected, but that the case is not sufficiently detailed, we will ask for more information in our reply. We also happy to receive unsolicited additional information.

    If you nominate someone who isn't chosen in that year , we may consider that person again in a subsequent year (even if you don't renominate him or her).

 

One of ten national laboratories overseen and primarily funded by the Office of Science of the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), Brookhaven National Laboratory conducts research in the physical, biomedical, and environmental sciences, as well as in energy technologies and national security. Brookhaven Lab also builds and operates major scientific facilities available to university, industry and government researchers.
